Meet Hector Alonso Rico Diaz Jr.

I go by Rico and I graduated from University of California, Berkeley and began my career working across presidential campaigns, foreign affairs, and roles in finance and tech—experiences that took me from the Bay Area to Philadelphia and Washington, DC, and shaped how I think and communicate. San Diego is home now, and real estate is where everything really clicked for me.

Today, I’m a bilingual (English/Spanish) real estate agent helping buyers and sellers across San Diego, including clients navigating a cross-border lifestyle, with a focus on coastal homes, architectural properties, and investment opportunities. I’m analytical but easygoing, with a direct, no-fluff communication style—structured updates, proactive check-ins, and always keeping you in the loop.

What drives me is helping people build wealth, create stability, and find a home that truly fits. My goal is simple: for you to feel empowered, taken care of, and confident every step of the way. Outside of real estate, you’ll find me surfing, riding my motorcycle, hiking, or exploring San Diego’s food scene—usually with a session IPA or a gin martini.
